Devgandharva Prempiya Sangeet Samaroh

Dev Gandharva – Prem Piya Sangeet Samaroh was a special musical programme dedicated to two towering figures of Hindustani classical music — Gayanacharya Pt. Bhaskarbuva Bakhale, revered as “Dev Gandharva,” and Aftab-e-Mousiqi Ustad Faiyaz Khan, known as “Prem Piya.”
The programme celebrated their immense contribution to Indian classical music, their distinctive musical thought, and the rich traditions they represented. Through performances rooted in classical repertoire, the event paid homage to their artistry and to the musical heritage that continues to inspire generations of performers and rasikas.
Presented in association with the Department of Vocal Music, Faculty of Performing Arts, The Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda, the samaroh served as a meaningful tribute to these legendary maestros and to the enduring legacy of Hindustani classical music.
