Khayal Yadnya
A Tribute to Greatest Khayaliya - Bharatratna Pt.Bhimsen Joshi

Khayal Yadnya was a special three-day musical tribute organised on the occasion of the birth centenary of Bharat Ratna Pt. Bhimsen Joshi, one of the greatest exponents of Hindustani classical music.
Even during the challenging period of COVID-19, the programme brought together nearly 100 vocalists, accompanists and supporting artists, who collectively paid homage to Pt. Bhimsen Joshi through music. The event became a unique celebration of his extraordinary contribution to Khayal Gayaki and his lasting influence on generations of musicians and music lovers.
Through this collective musical offering, Khayal Yadnya honoured his legacy and kept the spirit of classical music alive at a time when artists and audiences were physically apart.
