Sangeet Manthan was an online initiative started during the COVID-19 period to keep musical learning and interaction active even when in-person gatherings were not possible.
Through a series of virtual sessions, experienced musicians and experts were invited to discuss different aspects of Indian classical music in an informal and interactive question-and-answer format. Students could directly converse with the guests, ask questions, share their understanding and explore each topic in greater depth.
The initiative created a space for thoughtful musical dialogue beyond regular classroom learning, helping students gain wider perspectives, clarify concepts and stay connected with the world of music during a challenging time.
